Following a viral sex video, the Minister of Education in Zambia, David Mabumba, has been relieved of his duties by President Edgar Lungu on Wednesday.
This was contained in a statement from the Presidency signed by the spokesperson to the President, Isaac Chipampe.
It was not pointed out if the Minister was sacked because of the viral sex video which was had on WhatsApp video with a woman.
The video has since generated a lot of controversy and debate in the country and around Africa.
While the Minister is yet to comment on the video, police in the country are now investigating the circulation.
Mabumba has been replaced by Dennis Wanchinga.
