The Akwa United has been involved in an accident along Ezionye Express road in Enugu on their way to Kaduna for NPFL Match-day 15 game against Jigawa Golden Stars.
According to a post by Victor Kelechi Onyendi, players and officials obtained injuries while a played and two officials have been rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
