The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has urged candidates for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination to reprint a new examination notification on Wednesday, 26th April 2023, to know their new scheduled sessions.
The Commission which spoke through its Head, of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin on Tuesday night in Abuja stated that it rescheduled the ongoing UTME for candidates in 100 centers due to technical challenges experienced on Tuesday.
The statement reads: “Following the announcement, candidates, who for technical reasons could not take the examination, are to print a new examination notification early tomorrow morning, Wednesday, 26th April 2023, to know their new scheduled sessions.
“It is to be noted that about 100 centers out of the 708 centers participating in the 2023 UTME exercise across the country, experienced technical challenges that prevented their allotted candidates from successfully taking their examination.”
Estimated 1.6 million candidates are expected to take the examination across over 700 centers in the country.
Meanwhile, the Commission has assured that it will safeguard and uphold the sanctity of the examination and prevent examination misconduct.
