Mayor Lucky Igbokwe popularly known as Don Lulu, a prominent businessman, politician, and philanthropist, has issued a heartfelt tribute to the late president of the Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohaneze, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, who passed away on Thursday.

In his tribute, Mayor Igbokwe expressed profound grief over the loss of Chief Iwuanyanwu, describing him as a “titan, mentor, and friend.” He recalled his many visits to Chief Iwuanyanwu’s home, particularly the last time they met in Abuja, where the late elder statesman went above and beyond to address issues arising from the Abia PDP gubernatorial primaries.

Mayor Igbokwe highlighted Chief Iwuanyanwu’s invaluable contributions, stating, “Chief Iwuanyanwu shared his vast life experiences, providing invaluable lessons. His dedication to uniting Ndigbo and vision for a new renaissance will forever inspire us.”
