Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan resumes plenary after six months of suspension due to misconduct which arose after she was reassigned a seat in the red chamber.

In a clip seen by Newsleverage, Senator Natasha, who stated that this ‘injustice will not be sustained’, was seen taking a seat as the plenary resumed on Tuesday, 7th October 2025.

The Senator, who was accompanied by activist Aisha Yesufu and others, revealed her agility to serve the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District.

Senator Natasha was suspended following an argument that erupted after Senate President Godswill Akpabio changed her seat in the red chamber. She accused the former governor of Akwa Ibom State of sexually harassing her, a claim that Senator Akpabio has denied.
