Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson announced his plan to take a break from the movie industry next year.
The actor revealed in a recent podcast interview with content creator Kamsi Nnamani that he has been working tirelessly for 14 years with minimal sleep and breaks.
The actor who is known for his role in ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ ‘Introducing the Kujus’ and others mentioned that he has been only able to sleep for six hours a day.
His words: “I only rest when I go out at night. I only sleep five to six hours a day. And then keep the work going. But next year I’m going on a sabbatical. I have been acting for the past fourteen years consistently.
“There has never been a downtime or a time when I’m just chilling. And I did not say that with pride. I say that with all humility. It has just been God.”
He discovered acting by accompanying his sister Dakore to sets. Initially, he went to protect her but eventually fell in love with acting. He stated that when he got the paycheque for his role in the movie ‘Shuga’ he was blown away and that convinced him to do more.
When asked about relationships and his preferences, the 36-year-old actor revealed that looks do not matter to him when it comes to love but “I have given my heart to relationships and it never worked out.”
