Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai recently sparked reactions with an interview on Arise TV, where he declared that he remains a bona fide member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). However, he also expressed that the party had abandoned him.

He spoke clearly, stating that he had been nominated for a ministerial appointment and accused President Bola Tinubu of sabotaging his interview with the National Assembly. He also alleged that the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, was orchestrating plots to eliminate all Northerners who might be considered for the 2031 presidential election ticket.

There have been mixed feelings about the interview, with Nigerians criticizing the former governor for his perceived mistreatment of the Southern Kaduna indigenes who suffered numerous casualties during his tenure. Many accused him of hypocrisy, suggesting that he would have remained silent had he received the ministerial appointment.

Vintage El-Rufai… hehehe!

I love it when these guys fight and El-Rufai has their number for sure. I see a big fight loading. I consider it my sacred duty to encourage them.

Now waiting for Ribadu, Uba Sani or those acting on their behalf. I hope they hit back hard. They can expose some dark plan of El-Rufai or the other…let’s hear everything. Ndi ara!”
