Wow! Pupils Pay School Fees With Plastic Bottles

At a time when plastic bottles cause environmental harm, parents at Morit International School, Ajegunle, Lagos found an economic use for them. With cleanly sorted plastic bottles collected from the environment, the school now allows parents to pay their children’s fees.

After receiving a substantial amount of plastic waste, Wecyclers, the recycling company attached to the project, comes to collect plastic bottles. After weighing what each of them has brought, the amount given to parents is determined.
