A Federal Polytechnic National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM), Uromi, (NICTM) in Edo State has been allocated N900 million for the construction of a road in Cross River State.
NICTM which was established by the federal government to produce high level manpower to address the country’s construction and management issues is billed to construct the ibil Road in Ogoja local government area of Cross River State.
The same Polytechnic is renovating traditional palaces for N300 million and supplying motorcycles to Katsina and Bayelsa traders for N100 million to ease the effect of subsidy removal.
In a post shared by Budgit Nigeria on Tuesday, it accused the federal government of misappropriating public funds through budget insertions. The post urged Nigerians to ask pertinent questions to prevent this from happening.
Another report revealed that the Agricultural Research and Management Institute in Ilorin, Oyo State was allotted N150 million to install streetlights in Bayelsa and Kano State, and N50 million for repairing roads in Lugbe, Abuja.
