Rita Ushie: “LGI Absconded,” Says Sowore

Speaking on Monday, Sowore, who was accompanied by human rights lawyer Festus Ogun and Yinka Oyesomi, stated that the LGI failed to show up during their entire time at the local government office.

“We arrived at Eti-Osa LGI offices of the NYSC with youth Corper, Ushie Rita Uguamaye in Lagos. She was scheduled to appear before the LGI today, and we escorted her to their offices with attorneys. Festus Ogun, Yinka Oyesomi and Justice Ojienoh, but LGI officials had absconded, failing to show up throughout our stay.”

Mrs Abela was previously recorded on a call with Rita, where she threatened her for calling President Bola Tinubu a terrible president and instructed her to take down the video.

Subsequently, she was officially invited to the LGI’s office for allegedly insulting the president and claiming that times were difficult in the country.
