Following the lockdown in most States to curb the spread of the Coronavirus, some resident of Port Harcourt has poured away the goods of some market women over the exorbitant prices.
Recall that immediately the closure was announced by the government, some market women started hiking the prices of their goods and services.
A paint of garri which was sold for 500 was now sold at 1500, this enraged the boys and made them pour away the goods.

“Remember theses Garri are old stock because the border was closed one day after it was announced. So no gGarri truck came into the state after the closure of borders, that’s to say the Garri are old stocks they bought for a normal price before the borders were closed.

The government has initiated a total lockdown in the states in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
As of today, Nigeria has recorded 131 cases with two deaths. Everyone is advised to stay home to stay safe.
