Stranded Nigerians who were evacuated from Dubai on Wednesday have safely arrived Nigeria this evening.
They were evacuated due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country and difficulty in leaving the country.
According to the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora, Abike Dabiri- Erewa on her social media pages.
She further stated that they will be taken to a location for compulsory isolation and their samples taken even though they tested negative to Coronavirus.
She said, ‘Welcome home ! NCDC officials addressing stranded Nigerian returnees from Dubai. They will be proceeding to a location for compulsory isolation . All 256 tested negative for Covid 19 before boarding from Dubai’.

Recall that earlier today, Newsleverage reported that as the Nigerians were been evacuated, a pregnant woman gave birth 30 minutes afterwards which made the Emirate Airline turn back and the woman was taken to a hospital.
Mrs Abike also stated that they will return after getting a birth certificate for the baby boy.
