Residents of Dandora Phase Three on Tuesday evening raised concerns over a lifeless body that has stayed at a scene for three consecutive days.
The body was first discovered by a passer-by on Sunday evening and by Tuesday evening it was still lying at the scene.
One area residents, Cleophas Wafula, said the police were informed of the matter on Sunday evening but they were yet to respond.
“We really don’t know what was the cause of his death and no-one can risk even checking his documents for identification due to the coronavirus pandemic,” Wafula said.
Another resident, Peter Otieno, said the body that has been lying at Bethany bus terminus, has been a source of great worry for the residents.
He said that since the cause of death was yet to be established then anyone trying to even reach near the body was only putting their lives at risk.
“Something urgently needs to be done so that the stigma the body has caused to residents can be done away with,” he said.
Mr Otieno said that the man who was dressed in a blue shirt, brown pants and a grey jacket did not appear to have any injuries as there were no signs of a struggle at the scene.
