The alleged murderer of a young lady, Ogechukwu Egbe, has been caught after failing in an attempt to disappear.
Ogechukwu, from Opi in Enugu State, was murdered in December 2020. She went missing initially and afterwards, her decomposing body was found.
Police investigated and found Diof, a fleeing indigene of the town, culpable for the crime. Order of arrest was issued, but Diouf had run away already.
Diof was caught on Saturday in Enugu Ezike trying to buy charms to make him disappear. He was captured and arrested.
