Erisco Food Limited has allegedly arrested a customer, Chioma Egodi Junior who gave a review on their Nagiko tomato paste after buying and using it on the 17th of September 2023.
“I went to buy Tin Tomatoes yesterday that I will use to make stew, I didn’t see Gino and Sonia, so I decided to buy this one. When I opened it, I decided to taste it! Sugar is just too much! Haaa biko let me know if you have used this Tin tomato before because this is an ike gwuru situation!”
After sharing that there was a lot of sugar in it, Erisco Limited urged customers to ignore the attempt to defame and tarnish the reputation of the company over envy of their increasing market dominance.
But on her from Ogudu to speak on Mini Exportation on Sunday, she was invited by the Ogudu Police Station, Lagos State regarding her review of the Erisco Food Limited Company.
“I went to Ogudu where I was invited to speak on Mini Exportation, on my way out I was invited by the policemen from Ogudu Police Station.”
The Lagos State Police Command has yet to comment on the arrest while Nigerians are calling for the boycott of all Erisco food products and also called on the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC to review the manufacturing companies in Nigeria.
