The Nigerian Police Force has warned Seun Kuti over hosting an #EndSARS meeting which was to be hosted at the Afrika shrine in Lagos State.
Seun Kuti who is the child of late singer, political activist and multi instrumentalist Fela Kuti was to launch a meeting of the movement of the people on Tuesday to discuss on the way forward from the #EndSARS protest.
Seun disclosed in his Instagram page that the meeting will not hold at the shrine but will hold to ‘start our political resistance to the tyranny of this oppressive regime.’
Read below; “So yesterday the government called my eldest sister @yeniakuti and threatened to close the shrine if I hold my event there tmr and also sent a letter to back it up. I respect my families decision not to hold the event as is but I will still go ahead with all the other organizations to launch THE MOVEMENT OF THE PEOPLE tomorrow and start our political resistance to the tyranny of this oppressive regime.
