The Magistrate Court in Ekiti State, on Friday, granted Dele Farotimi Bail on the condition of a N30 million bond with two sureties, one of whom must have a property. He was also prohibited from granting media interviews.

“The Kangaroo Magistrate Court has finally granted @DeleFarotimi bail, subject to the following conditions: a 30 million bond, two sureties (one of whom must be a property owner), submission of his passport, and a prohibition on granting media interviews. The Struggle Continues!”

In a post on X, #RevolutionNow convener Omoyele Sowore on Friday stated that the Magistrate who left the ruling of Farotimi’s hearing at home received a phone call and retired to his chambers.
Farotimi was abducted from his law office in Lagos State and taken to Ekiti State on the petition written by Chief Afe Babalola SAN over an allegation of his ‘offensive’ book titled “Nigeria and Its Criminal Justice System.”
