The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has sacked the 108 workers of the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (ISOPADEC) for demanding their salary arrears.
This happened after the workers went on industrial action on the 9th of February, 2021, shutting down the secretariat complex of the Ministry.
The workers were also demanding the development of their region and resolved that they will not return to work until their demands are met.
