Professor Christopher Chiedozie Eze has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of the Imo State University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo.
This was made known on Wednesday in a statement made available by the Imo State government announcing the immediate removal of Professor Patrick Egbule as the acting Vice Chancellor of the University.
The statement charged Professor Eze to apply himself to the highest standard of the administration of the University.
In September 2020, the Nigerian University Commission, NUC, approved the take-off of the University in October 2020 after the necessary verification exercises on the state facilities, and human and physical infrastructures were carried out.
