Senator Shehu Sani who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District lamented that the mass burial of people killed in Southern Kaduna by terrorists shows people who are neglected and discriminated against.
Speaking on Monday as thirty-three people were buried in mass graves, Senator Sani revealed that the people of Southern Kaduna are living at the mercy of mass murderers and facing extinction from their ancestral lands.
“The mass burial of 33 people in Southern Kaduna as a result of Saturday’s terrorist attacks tells the story of a neglected & discriminated people, living at the mercy of mass murderers & facing extinction in their ancestral lands. What else is a priority when human lives are not?”
The terrorists invaded the communities shooting sporadically and setting houses ablaze with occupants in them.
Rose Micah who spoke to AriseTV stated that they do not know where the marauders came from.
“They killed our fathers, husbands, sisters. We don’t know where they came from. They came at night and set houses ablaze. My sister was killed.”
An eye witness James Tagam called on the government to rescue the village from the Fulani terrorists.
“We have been living peacefully with Fulanis before they started killing us and we don’t even know what the problem is. We have military men around but they can’t help us. We want the government to withdraw all the military checkpoints around us.”
Speaking further, another eyewitness who lost his children in the attack said the terrorists disclosed that they will return.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Government is yet to say anything about the gruesome killing of the people.
