Angry Youths Kill Man, Set Ablaze 64 Houses Over Coronation
A 70-year-old man identified as Apollos Danlami has been killed while 65-year-old Naemiya Bature and some other people were injured following a conflict involving youths of Sang village on the 15th of April 2023 at Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
A 70-year-old man identified as Apollos Danlami has been killed while 65-year-old Naemiya Bature and some other people were injured following a conflict involving youths of Sang village on the 15th of April 2023 at Bogoro Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

Reports revealed that the Sang village had a coronation of the Hamlet Head of Sang but was interrupted by angry youths with a different function, which they protested about.
In the course of the protest, an attack was launched which resulted in bashing innocent citizens and vandalizing people’s properties worth millions of Naira and has left no fewer than 64 houses burnt.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi State Police Command has swiftly deployed its operatives comprising Tactical teams, (RRS) Rapid Response Squad, and Operation Restore Peace following the receipt of the attack to restore peace, investigate the mobs and make a necessary arrest on the perpetrators.
