Following the distribution of palliative to churches in the State, the United Evangelical church has appreciated Governor Okezie Ikpeszu for his kind gesture towards the vulnerable in the church.
They made this known through a letter written to the the Governor on Wednesday and signed by their pastors.
They further made it clear that the palliative received relieved a lot of hardship from the people as it has been distributed.

LETTER OF APPRECIATION
The United Evangelical church (Founded as Qua Ibom church) joins the Christian fraternity to appreciate you for your kind gesture towards the vulnerable in our church.
The palliative gift of food items, cash and other protective materials received from you relieved the hardship on the members being the effect of the sit-at-home order occassioned by the outbreak of the Covid-19. They have been equitably distributed to those concerned through our Area conferences, superintendents and churches.
We also thank you for seeing the church as an avenue to reach the people. We pray God to be with you even as you pilot the affairs of our God’s own State to an enviable height. We also pray for divine intervention over this ravaging deadly disease as we all that it will come to an end one day.
