Businessman Emeka Okonkwo Daniel, popularly known as E-Money, has been released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC after hours of intense interrogation following his arrest on Monday night.

E-Money, who was released on Tuesday night, took to social media to appreciate God for saving him, saying, “No tension, everywhere good. I see all your love and support. God bless you all.”
The clip featured a gospel song playing in the background, with lyrics expressing gratitude: “Thank you for saving me, thank you, my Lord”.

The socialite was arrested on the alleged grounds of spraying dollars an act that violates the Foreign Exchange Act.
He was flown to the headquarters of the Agency in Abuja from his Lagos State residence where he was arrested.
His arrest, meanwhile, elicited outcry from the public, who called out the EFCC for being biased in their arrest, citing the case of the sons of Eleganza Group of Companies, Razaq Okoya, who recorded themselves abusing the Naira.
Despite the clear evidence, they were never arrested by the EFCC.
