The Lagos State Government has called on residents to come for the identification of bodies deposited at the mortuary.
This was made known in a newspaper made by the Lagos chief coroner Justice Mojisola Dada, who urged families whose loved went missing between October 19 and 27 to visit the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja for identification.
The announcement has come after the CNN expose on the tragic events of October 20th where the Nigerian army allegedly shot at unarmed #endsars protesters at Lekki Toll Gate.
The Nigerian Army has, however, denied ever being at the venue of protest but afterwards, admitted being at the venue but claimed no live bullet was used.
In the expose by CNN, the shells of bullets fired by the Nigerian Army was purchased from Serbia by Nigerian Government between 2005 to 2016.
The public notice has raised the suspicion that the claim by DJ Switch who stated that they dropped the dead bodies of people killed at the foot of the army who said they were directed by ‘order from above’.
