President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed into law the Student Loan Bill which was sponsored by the Speaker of the 9th House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
This was made known by the spokesperson to the Federal Government, Dele Alake on Monday, he also made it clear that the funds will be domiciled at the Ministry of Education and can be accessed by only students in tertiary institutions.
The Students Loan Bill provides interest-free rate loans to Nigerian students and also higher access to educational opportunities.
