Akpabio Emerges Senate President of 10th Assembly
Senator Godswill Akpabio who is representing Akwa Ibom North West has emerged as the President of the 10th National Assembly after winning the highest votes from the 109 Senators on Tuesday morning.
Senator Godswill Akpabio who is representing Akwa Ibom North West has emerged as the President of the 10th National Assembly after winning the highest votes from the 109 Senators on Tuesday morning.

The former Akwa Ibom Governor who also served as the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC, beat Senator Abdulaziz Yari from Zamfara North West, who is also of the APC, were the two contenders for the office of the number three citizen.
Akpabio is also the announced candidate of the ruling political party, APC.
