There was a bit of drama outside the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos State on Tuesday as the operatives of the Department of State Service, DSS, manhandled the commander of the Nigeria Correctional Service, NCS.
The operatives of the DSS dragged the NCS commander right outside the court and tore his uniform.
This happened when both parties tussled over who would take custody of suspended Central Bank of Nigeria Governor Godwin Emefiele.
The tussle continued until DSS operatives calmed down and allowed the NCS to take custody of Emefiele.
Meanwhile, Mr. Emefiele pleaded not guilty to the two-count charge of having a single-barrel gun and 23 live ammunition. He was granted bail.
