Tinubu Appoints Durotoye, Others as Senior Special Assistants

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Fela Durotoye, Founder/CEO of the GEMSTONE Group, a Leadership Development Institution aimed at building & empowering a generation of exemplary leaders as Senior Special Assistant on National Values and Social Justice.

Also appointed was Mr. Fredrick Nwabufo as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Engagement, and Mrs. Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Strategic Communications.

Others include; Mr. Aliyu Audu as Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs and Mr. Francis Adah Abah as Personal Assistant to the President on Special Duties.

According to Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Assistant to President on Media and Publicity said “President Tinubu has further approved the secondment of Mrs. Linda Nwabuwa Akhigbe to serve as the Communications Adviser to the President of the ECOWAS Commission.

The President tasks all new appointees who are serving in the Media & Publicity directorate to uphold the highest standards of decorum and decency in their engagements with all members of the public as they advance the President’s determined bid to renew the hope of Nigerians in a restructured economy and unified society that caters sufficiently to the needs of all, regardless of any differences.”

Meanwhile, President Tinubu has made more than 20 appointments since the inception of this administration on May 29, 2023.
