Enugu Governor Mbah Seeks N100 Billion Loan, Others
Enugu State Governor, Mr Peter Mbah has written to the State Assembly for a N100 billion loan, N10 billion term loan, N10 billion over draft facility, and N50 billion credit facility for his government.
Enugu State Governor, Mr Peter Mbah has written to the State Assembly for a N100 billion loan, N10 billion term loan, N10 billion over draft facility, and N50 billion credit facility for his government.
This was made known in a memo dated 9th October, 2023 sent to the State Assembly which was read on the floor of the plenary session.
However, no approval has been given to the Governor’s request as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, Governor Mbah received N5 billion in palliative funds to cushion the effect of subsidy removal from the federal government, 52% as grants and 48% as loans.
