Crisis has erupted in the Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State after suspected armed men set ablaze the Church of Christ In Nations (COCIN) in Plateau State, North-Central, on Tuesday.
Residents of Mangu, a Christian-dominated area have stated that more church buildings are being attacked by the terrorists.
A resident who pleaded anonymity said, “As we speak the COCIN Church near Sabon Kasuwa is on fire and they are advancing towards other churches in town.”
Meanwhile, Governor Caleb Muftwang has imposed a 24-hour curfew on the area while security agents are yet to be seen in the area.
