Schools in Anambra State have resumed after the forceful six months vacation embarked in March over the COVID-19 pandemic in the world.
Recall that the Anambra State Government resolved for a partial opening of schools which excludes pupils in Creche and Nursery classes as advised by health providers in the State.
It was gathered that students and all other visitors to the schools were checked with an infrared thermometer by the teachers and adequate classrooms provided even though it was noticed that students learnt under a tree due to the spill over in classrooms when social distancing was applied.
Also, handwashing buckets, soaps and sanitizers were placed at several strategic places in the school.
Recall that schools in the country resumed last month to enable exit classes write the West African Examination Council and Common Entrance Examination which just concluded.
