Suspected Vandal Electrocuted on High-Tension Pole in Ogbor Hill
A tragic incident unfolded on Monday morning, May 5, 2025, in the Ogbor Hill area of Aba, Abia State, as a man was electrocuted while allegedly attempting to tamper with a high-tension electricity installation.
A tragic incident unfolded on Monday morning, May 5, 2025, in the Ogbor Hill area of Aba, Abia State, as a man was electrocuted while allegedly attempting to tamper with a high-tension electricity installation.

Eyewitnesses report that the man had climbed a high-tension pole near the Wilcox Relief transformer, reportedly in an attempt to vandalize or tap illegal power from the facility.

In the midst of the act, power was suddenly restored, leading to a fatal electric shock that ended his life instantly.
Meanwhile, while authorities are yet to remove the body, the identity of the deceased is still unknown.
The viral video showed the man hanging by the Pole.
