Mr. Aweta is facing a three-count charge bordering on stealing, assault, and unlawful use of a dangerous weapon.
The prosecutor, Insp Christian Okonofua, told the court that the defendant committed the offense on June 10 at about 9:00 a.m. at Oreyo in the Igbogbo area of Ikorodu, Lagos.
