Bandits Kill Nine, Abduct Residents, Loot Property in Sabon Birni

Armed bandits attacked Dan Tudu, a community in the Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, resulting in the deaths of nine people and injuries to one individual.

The heavily armed assailants also abducted several men and women and looted valuables amounting to an unquantified total.

Intelligence sources identified the perpetrators as members of notorious gangs led by Saidu Zango, Bello Turji, and Jammo Baki, who are known to operate in the Gangara axis.

Local sources reported that the bandits targeted homes, stealing livestock, money, and other belongings before retreating with their captives into the forest.
