NAFDAC Discovers Illegal Production Site for Alcoholic Beverages
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered an illegal production site for counterfeit alcoholic beverages located on Offin Road in Balogun, Lagos Island.
The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has uncovered an illegal production site for counterfeit alcoholic beverages located on Offin Road in Balogun, Lagos Island.

Following a complaint, the team discovered a shop that had been repurposed for the production and packaging of fake alcoholic drinks.




A variety of bottles containing the counterfeit products were destroyed on-site, while packaging materials, empty bottles, and repackaged drinks were confiscated.
The estimated value of the destroyed and seized items exceeds ₦30 million.
