An 11-year-old girl has become pregnant after being raped by a man on the run. According to reports, the incident occurred at the Delta State Ovwian Community. It was found that one Mr Frank allegedly raped the girl who threatened her with a knife and dragged her into a community house before raping her.
The suspect was said to have been aided by his friend who stood at the door and watched while the defilement was going on.
According to the human rights activist, Israel Joe (pictured with the victim), the girl got pregnant after the incident.
A petition has been written and duly received by the Burutu Area Commander in charge of the community as the police have been urged to do a thorough investigation and bring the culprits to face the full wrath of the law.
