The Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has ordered the immediate suspension of his Chief of Staff, Dr ACB Agbazuere.
The Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, made this announcement on Sunday stating that the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mr Alozie Odoemelam, will perform the duties of the office of Chief of Staff until further notice.
Recall that on Friday, popular prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere aka Odumeje visited the government house in Umuahia and Dr ACB was recorded in a viral video spraying money on him.
The video which went viral on social media was condemned by citizens who stated that it was an outright abuse of power for the CoS who was standing as the Governor to do that.
Citizens are suspecting that this might be the reason why he was suspended.
