Actress Grace-Charris Bassey formerly known as Belinda Effah has disclosed why she changed her name.
In a series of Instagram post, the actress revealed that her step brother renamed her and her sisters because he thought they needed an English name.
She also disclosed that she needed to change her name after learning that it meant “pretty serpent”.
The actress stated that she has no issue with people bearing ‘Linda’ but she needed to change hers as she was no longer comfortable with it.
