The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has expressed profound gratitude to the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Mohammadu Buhari and other dignitaries for honouring the wedding of his son, Jachimike’s wedding on Sunday.
Speaking through a press release made available by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Barrister Eze Chikamnayo on Tuesday, Governor Ikpeazu also thanked the State Governors; including the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel, Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, and his wife, Rachel Umahi, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki and wife Besty Obaseki as well as the wife of the Delta State Governor, Dame Edith Okowa as well as former senate president Anyim Pious Anyim.
The immediate past Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia Central Senator T. A Orji and his wife, Mrs Odochi Orji, former Governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi, National Assembly Members, Abia State House of Assembly led by the Speaker, Chief Chinedum Orji, the Chief Judge of Abia State and Members of the Judiciary, Federal Ministers, Honourable Commissioners, Traditional Rulers, Elders, Leaders, Stakeholders of the PDP family, the Clergy, ASMATA and other organisations and institutions, Ndi-Abia and fellow Citizens.
While expressing gratitude to all esteemed guests and Ndi-Abia, Governor Ikpeazu also thanked Almighty God for granting journey mercies to all the people who graced the event and reassured the good people of Abia State of his Administration’s greater resolve to take the state to the next level of development.
