A National Youth Service Corps member identified as Adebola Sodiq has been arrested by Ogun State Police Command on 12th of May, 2023 for raping a 20-year-old girl at Owode Egba, Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Reports say the suspect dragged the girl to his room on the guise of giving her a birthday present and had carnal knowledge of her.
On interrogation, fbw suspect confessed to the crime but blamed it on having an unstable mental health.
Meanwhile, the victim has been taken to a hospital for medical treatment.
