The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has written to the leader of the autopilot group headed by Simon Ekpa to call off any present or future sit-at-home in the South East region.
In a letter seen by Newsleverage, Kanu, who has been detained since 2021 by the Federal government revealed that the movement was to liberate the people and not enslave them.
He also warned against antagonizing governors and other political actors whom he said have been helpful in his incarceration and stated that he will despise anybody who inflicts hardship on the people.
Kanu also ordered him to make a public announcement on his platform to cancel any further sit-at-home and warned that if not done, he has ordered his lawyer Barrister Alloy Ejimakor to issue a press statement if he fails to do so.
Recall that Ekpa who lives in Finland has ordered a sit-at-home in the South East region to coerce the Federal government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
