Suge Knight, founder of Deathrow Records has been sentenced to 28 years in jail for murder.
The former record label exec and one of the most notorious figures in the American hip-hop industry were due to face trial for a 2015 incident but accepted a plea bargain for less time. He was arrested for running over two people on the set of a shoot for the movie Straight Outta Compton.
One man died from his action and Knight accepted to serve 28 years instead of facing life in prison if found guilty of the crime. He will be 81 years old at the end of his sentence.
