A 42-year-old Disney actress, Maitland Ward has changed her acting career to pornography.
The star, who played Rachel McGuire in the hit Nineties sitcom, Boy Meets World spoke candidly to In Touch about her career change, as she confessed she opted to explore the adult film industry after being ‘impressed’ by the writing.
Speaking to In Touch Weekly, she explained: ‘They asked me to be a part of this, and I thought, “I never knew there was anything in adults or porn or whatever that was this well done”. I read the script, and I was like, “This is really, really well written”.
In 1998, Maitland joined Boy Meets World as main cast member starred as Rachel McGuire in its sixth season until it ended in 2000.
Now, however, her career has had a huge change after she began her work in porn and has signed to adult boutique talent agency Society 15.
She went on: ‘This has so many themes in this and just my character is so different than anything I have portrayed before’.
‘I felt ready. It wasn’t like I was saying, “Oh, I want to do this all along”, but it was like, “I need to do this”. I really feel that quality stuff and the hot sex stuff can be together, and I really want that.’
