Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), was re-arraigned on Thursday before a Federal High Court in Abuja on new cyberbullying charges.

The outspoken influencer is now facing a five-count charge related to alleged online harassment of several public figures, including Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh, as well as music producer and singer Samklef (Samuel Oguachuba), among others.
Appearing before Justice Musa Liman, Otse entered a plea of not guilty to all charges. His re-arraignment follows an earlier appearance in May 2024 before Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon, who was later transferred to another court division.

The case, registered as FHC/ABJ/CR/140/2024, was subsequently reassigned to Justice Liman.
Initially remanded in custody, Otse was granted bail on June 10, 2024, under strict conditions, including a ₦10 million bond and the provision of two sureties, either senior civil servants or employees of reputable companies, with valid tax clearance for three years.
The court has scheduled the commencement of the trial for July 24.
