Tricyclist Sodomizes Little Boys While Taking Them to School

Abubakar Umar, 22 years old, a resident of Rumde Baru, Yola North local government area, has been arrested for sodomy and defiling four minors aged between 8 and 9 on the 14th of May, 2025.

According to SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the arrest of the commercial tricyclist from the victim’s parent, who reported that the suspect was hired to convey their children to school.

However, the suspect took advantage of that and, on several occasions, lured them into hidden places to take advantage of them.

Meanwhile, the suspect confessed to committing the crime and blamed the devil.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, Psc (+), has condemned the disturbing incident and directed that the case be diligently investigated and charged to court without delay. He also urged parents to be vigilant and report people of suspicious character to the nearest police stations.
