We Value The Feedback From Abians – Okiyi
The Abia State Commissioner for Infornation, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, has assured that the state government appreciates positive feedback from citizens and residents of the state, hence, will continue to run a transparent administration that responds to the yearnings of the people.

Speaking during a live interactive Igbo radio program of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State (BCA), Osinachi, anchored by Chief UBA Alilionwu, Chief Okiyi assured that the government will continue to open lines of communication with the people in its efforts to improve social mobilization in support of the development agenda of the Ikpeazu administration affirming that the Government is determined to ensure transparency in managing the resources of the state.
The Commissioner who decried rumor mongering in the state released phone numbers for citizens to interact with the state government on issues of development, security and general interests, guaranteed that security information will be treated with confidentiality and dealt with expeditiously through security agencies in the state.

Speaking to newsmen after the program, he gave the official website of the state government as www.abiastate.gov.ng and revealed that the state government has launched various radio interactive programs to ensure that people of the state are adequately informed.
