AC Milan Clinch Victory in Thrilling Samuel Chukwueze All-Star Champions League Final
The annual event, which was held at the Ugba Primary School on Sunday where he started his football career, saw the AC Milan superstar show his skill and sportsmanship in the second half of the tournament.
The Samuel Chukwueze All-Star Champions League concluded in a nail-biting penalty shootout as AC Milan edged out IPOD 4-3 after a goalless first half and a tense second half where star player Samuel Chukwueze entered the pitch but was unable to break the deadlock.
The annual event, which was held at the Ugba Primary School on Sunday where he started his football career, saw the AC Milan superstar show his skill and sportsmanship in the second half of the tournament.
Renowned football administrator and proprietor of Superstars Academy Nigeria, Chief Victor Apugo, praised Chukwueze for his exceptional talent and ongoing commitment to the community that nurtured his skills.
He also lauded the organizers for hosting the successful annual tournament, which continues to inspire and bring the community together.




In response, Samuel Chukwueze expressed heartfelt gratitude to the supporters and the community, promising never to take their backing for granted.
“It’s an honour to be here again this year. Thank you to everyone, especially the organisers, who are the heads; they made this possible. Thank you to the sponsors, Delatinos,” he said.
The Samuel Chukwueze All-Star Championsleague ably supported by the Delatinos recognized outstanding performances in the tournament like David Amankwe of AC Milan who was named highest goal scorer, receiving 250 euros; Waduli Ofori earned the Most Valuable Player award and 300 euros; while Sunday Ndani of AC Milan took home the Golden Globe for Best Goalkeeper, awarded 200 euros.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of the trophy by Chief Victor Apugo to the defending champions, AC Milan, in a celebration of skill, sportsmanship, and community spirit.
