Police Arrests Fake Keke Ticket Vendors in Umuahia
Vendors of fake government revenue tickets were this morning at Umuahia arrested by a combined team of policemen sent by Abia state Board of Internal Revenue.

Information disclosed has it that those arrested have confessed to being members of ASATOA and have been taken to BIR office for further interrogation and possible prosecution.
A Keke operator who spoke to the newsmen informed us that this is what they have been suffering all along in the hands of those who claim to be members of ASATOA and most times when you complain about the fake tickets being sold to you they will beat you up or impound your keke.

He called on the government to ensure the regulation of the ticket and save the innocent Keke operators from the intimidation and extortion that they have been subjected to by ASTA.
However, information reaching our newsroom suggests that the chairman of the board of internal revenue Mr Agbara has ordered that they should be taken to zone 9 Umuahia for proper interrogation and detention, but the leadership of ASATOA have concluded arrangement to use their contacts with the police to free their arrested members.
