Man Poisons Girlfriend For Cheating On Him

A young man is currently in police custody after allegedly poisoning his 21-year-old girlfriend for cheating on him.

The girl identified as Vera Adu died after she was rushed to the hospital for taking some substance given to her by her boyfriend.

According to the father of the deceased Jerry Adu, his daughter has been in the relationship with the 29-year-old man for almost five months.

He explained that on the day the unfortunate incident happened, the two lovebirds went out together and returned later in the day.

Jerry Adu added that 30 minutes after their arrival, the young man gave a bottle to Vera’s younger brother to dispose of for him and left the house.

Few minutes after he left, Vera started complaining of serious stomach ache and was rushed to the Lapaz Community Hospital where she passed away.

It is not known, what Vera’s boyfriend actually gave her to drink but according to sources, the young man poisoned Vera for either trying to dump him or for cheating on him.

However, he decided to take his revenge on the 21-year-old girl by poisoning him and currently, he is in police custody assisting in investigations.
