Aftermath of Tribunal Ruling: Ihedioha Extends Olive Branches to Opponents
Imo State Governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has extended Olive branches to his political opponents, especially those who filed cases against him at the election petition tribunal.
Imo State Governor, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha has extended Olive branches to his political opponents, especially those who filed cases against him at the election petition tribunal.

This was contained in a press statement personally signed by the governor and made available to Imo Breaking News. He appreciated Imo people for their faith in him which they demonstrated by voting him into power and massively supporting him so far.
He wrote on the backdrop of the election petition tribunal judgment in Abuja which affirmed his election as duly elected governor of Imo state while dismissing the petition of Uche Nwosu (Action Alliance), Senator Ifeanyi Ararume (All Progressives Grand Alliance) and Senator Hope Uzodimma (All progressives Congress) for lack of merit and for failing to prove their allegations against the governor.
Today is (Friday 21 September 2019) is a very important day in the history of our Rebuild Imo project. The Nigerian judiciary has once again demonstrated courage and much honour in the discharge of its constitutional duties. The judgement today has reaffirmed our confidence in our judicial system.
“The work ahead of us as a people and as an administration is a very enormous one, but we will surmount the odds. We have already started laying the foundation for a quick recovery. All hands must be on deck.
“I, therefore, call on all Imolites across party and opinion divides, especially my opponents in the last election and in today’s tribunal ruling to join hands with us as we make Imo great again. For me, there is no victor and no vanquished”
